MAYNARD DAY

Maynard R. Day, 69, operator of Day's Paint and Wallpaper Store since 1947, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Day formerly had been associated with the Harry Freedman clothing store. He was a member of the Elks, Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge, York Rite and the First United Methodist Church. He was born in June 12, 1903, at Kokomo, a son of Ernest and Maude Reeves Day. He married Ethel Dye on Jan 20, 1945. She survives. Also surviving are a sister; Mrs. Glen Davis of Rocky River, Ohio, five nieces and two nephews. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. P.J. Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
